About
In La Trinité-sur-Mer, L’Azimut is one of those houses whose history is closely tied to the life of the harbour. A restaurant since 1965, it keeps a strong maritime personality, a warm dining room and a terrace that is popular in good weather. Nothing too formal: the point is to enjoy a real meal built on the produce. Rudy Deniaud took over the house and moved it towards more creative cooking. Fish and seafood have a natural place, but the chef also likes cooking over the fire, seasonal vegetables and sometimes unexpected pairings: a very fresh fish lifted by a fruity condiment, a plant note or a flavourful jus. L’Azimut is a good stop for discovering modern cooking in a marina setting. Before or after the meal, a walk along the quays, towards Men-Du or on the coastal paths brings you back to the landscapes that inspire the kitchen.
