About

Beaumer beach extends the Carnac coastline eastwards, past the Pointe Churchill, to the Men Du area. The tourist office describes it as well sheltered from the wind and shaded, which makes it pleasant with young children. Swimming is usually calm thanks to the natural shelter of Quiberon Bay and a gentle slope. Beaumer is above all a major shore fishing spot: cockles, razor clams, periwinkles and limpets are sought at low tide. Unlike the Grande Plage and Saint-Colomban, Beaumer is not a lifeguarded beach according to Carnac’s information. Dogs are not allowed on Carnac’s beaches. Check for any health bans before collecting shellfish.
