About
The Saint-Cado campsite is on rue Pen Perleieu, in Belz, overlooking the ria d’Étel and its small islands, facing the islet of Saint-Cado and its house with blue shutters. It was founded in 1971. It has 135 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, some with sea views, and rents out mobile homes. It is open from 1 April to 15 October, and the CaraMaps community named it among the best stopovers of 2025. The small beach on the ria is easy to reach, and you can go shore fishing or sea fishing, kayak on the calm waters of the ria and walk. The GR 34 passes through Saint-Cado: to the west, it leads to the Lorois bridge, 2 kilometres away, a viewpoint over the ria; to the east, to the Pointe du Perche and then the megaliths, including the Kerlutu dolmens and the Kerzerho stone rows. Nearby, you can visit the Musée des Thoniers in Étel, about 9 minutes by car (5.9 km), and the Kerbel lighthouse in Riantec, about 19 minutes by car (13 km).
