About
This short Locoal-Mendon trail explores the hamlet of Lapaul and follows the stream from the Crannic pond. The 17th century Saint-Paul chapel in Lapaul was rebuilt as an oratory in the 20th century. The country lane crosses pastures, with sections reserved for walkers, then enters the forest before climbing back to the hamlet. The loop is 4.5 km long; allow about 1 hour of walking. The stated level is easy. Start: the Lapaul spring, rue Mané-er-Groez, in Locoal-Mendon. The waymarking is yellow. The official route, published by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
