About
In Sainte-Anne-d’Auray, L’Auberge carries on the story of the Larvoir family, in the house since 1983. Jean-Luc and Françoise created an art of hospitality that Claire and the next generation keep alive. This heritage shows in the welcome: the house aims for well-judged service, friendliness and sincere attention to the occasions that bring guests to its table. In the kitchen, Julien Doupeux works contemporary gastronomy with real personality. His pastry background shows in the construction of the plates, the play of textures and a very appealing freedom with vegetables, sometimes even in desserts. Claire looks after the dining room and guides the pairings, drawing on a remarkably well-stocked cellar built in the family spirit. The different menus let you adapt the experience to how long you want to explore. The setting of Sainte-Anne-d’Auray adds a heritage and spiritual interest to the visit, with the basilica close by. The house is closed from 15 October to 5 November 2026 inclusive.
