About

The Tro-Belz, the tour of Belz, brings together every landscape in the commune: a path along the ria d’Étel, woodland and heathland, dotted with dolmens and chapels. After the sunken lanes and the Ouerc’h wash house, the coastal path leads to the Pointe du Perche and its viewpoint indicator, the hamlet of Kerhuen and its dolmens, then the island of Saint-Cado and the Nichtarguer house. The route passes under the Lorois bridge, by the Port-Niscop grotto, a shrine built by sailors, follows the river to the Bignac mill and returns via the Kerlutu dolmen. The loop is 22 km long; allow about 5 h 15 of walking. The stated level is easy. Start: the stadium car park, rue des Sports, in Belz. The waymarking is yellow. The official route, published by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique, is shown on the map and can be downloaded as a GPX file to follow on your phone.
