About
Ty Coed is one of the most consistently eco-friendly places to stay. At La Fontaine Airmeth, an organic beekeeping farm in Ploërdut, this 20 m² geodesic dome is built of wood and covered with a thick canvas with transparent sections looking out onto the trees and the orchard. It is self-sufficient in solar energy. Inside, a library devoted to trees and nature and an educational mini hive extend the experience. It sleeps two. The shower and kitchen are shared, linen and towels are included, breakfast is available depending on the package, and pets are not allowed. The direct price is around 80 € a night, with booking platforms from about 78 €. The farm offers a wood-fired Nordic bath, baskets of local organic produce and a beekeeping introduction of about 2.5 hours. In 2026, Ty Coed is open from 4 April to 2 November.
