About
Les Bassans has brought the former Manoir du Sphinx back to life under the Fontenille Collection banner. The 25 rooms and suites, all with sea views, borrow the style of 1930s ocean liners: wood panelling, brass, sandy tones and a telescope in every room to watch the birds and the Sept-Îles. The Alaena Spa brings together a hot tub, sauna, hammam, outdoor deck and treatment rooms. The restaurant and bar also face the ocean. Pets are welcome free of charge, with dog-friendly touches.
Highlights
- Every room has a telescope for watching the horizon and the birds.
- The decor is openly inspired by 1930s ocean liners.
- Alaena bathroom products are natural and Ecocert organic certified.
- Four rooms deliberately have no television, though one can be requested.
- The spa faces the ocean.
- The whole hotel can be booked privately from two nights.
