About
Every Tuesday, all year round, from 8.30 am to 1 pm, the Fréhel market sets up on Place de Chambly, in the village centre. It brings together local stallholders and producers, and grows in summer with the arrival of holidaymakers. There is free parking around the square. In the same town, another market is held on Sunday mornings in summer, on the esplanade at Sables-d’Or-les-Pins: in 2026, it ran from 3 May to 13 September. After the market, you can visit the Cap Fréhel lighthouse in Plévenon, about 13 minutes by car (10 km), and the Château de Bienassis in Erquy, about 15 minutes by car (12 km). By the sea, La Fosse beach, in Plévenon, is about 10 minutes by car (6.2 km), and Anse du Croc beach about 11 minutes by car (5.3 km).
