About
Locmiquel beach in Larmor-Baden is a sand spit facing the Gulf of Morbihan. Its appeal lies in its calm atmosphere and gulf landscape: little swell, but an inland sea shaped entirely by the tides and currents. Bathing water quality at the Golfe du Morbihan Vannes agglomération sites is monitored throughout the bathing season, from June to mid-September. Dogs are allowed from 1 October to 30 April. Locmiquel is also a good starting point for discovering Larmor-Baden, its oyster-farming heritage and the views over the gulf. Note that a sea that looks calm can still hide strong currents.
