About
Les Grands Sables beach is one of the natural symbols of the Île de Groix. It is often described as one of the only convex beaches in Europe. It is also a “wandering” beach: its position changes over the years under the effect of currents and storms, moving more than 150 metres in just a few years. Its fine white sand and clear water make it a very family-friendly beach. It is lifeguarded in July and August. Reachable by road, by the coastal path or by sea, it stays vast even at high tide.
