About
Behind its blue façade in Saint-Malo’s walled town, Doma offers mood-driven cooking, changing menus and the simple pleasure of being welcomed as if at home. The Ukrainian name chosen by the house means “at home”, reflecting a simple and generous way of hosting. The house describes its food as mood-driven cooking: its two menus vary with purchases, seasons and creative impulses. Producers from Saint-Malo and Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes are among its suppliers. The small contemporary dining room combines raw materials, a touch of corrugated iron and an original blackboard set on glazed tiles. A few tables on the street, when possible, let you enjoy the atmosphere of the old town. The cellar favours organic, biodynamic or sustainably farmed wines. Doma opens from Tuesday evening to Saturday evening, with lunch on several days of the week. The ramparts, the town gates, the shopping lanes and the cathedral are close by.
