The 2027 winter holidays run from 6 to 22 February in zone C, from 13 February to 1 March in zone A, and from 20 February to 8 March in zone B, the zone of Rennes and Nantes. Ille-et-Vilaine brings together the great museums of Rennes and the biggest tides in Europe, in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.

The spring tides in the bay
On 22 February, the Sillon sea wall in Saint-Malo, the Pointe du Grouin and the oyster beds of Cancale offer the show of the biggest tides in Europe.

VillageCancaleCancale · 2 hours minimum, ideally half a day. A full day with the Pointe du GrouinFacing the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, Cancale brings together the Port de la Houle, an oyster market open all year round, fishermen’s houses, oyster beds and a coastal path to the Pointe du Grouin.
