The 2027 winter holidays run from 6 to 22 February in zone C, from 13 February to 1 March in zone A, and from 20 February to 8 March in zone B, the zone of Rennes and Nantes. Quimper is a good base in winter: a lively old town, and the great headlands of Cornouaille less than an hour away.

Rainy days
The Musée départemental breton displays costumes, headdresses and faience from all over the region. The Halles Saint-François open every day. The Musée des Beaux-Arts is closed for renovation.
