About
Les Bassans occupies the former Manoir du Sphinx in Perros-Guirec, above the sea on the Pink Granite Coast. The hotel, part of the Fontenille collection, has twenty-five rooms open to the sea. Its restaurant and bar, decorated like a 1930s ocean liner, look out over the Sept-Îles archipelago and the Channel. In the kitchen, chef Jean-Pascal Gebka tells the story of Breton produce and the flavours of the sea. The MICHELIN Guide, which has added the house to its selection, mentions a buckwheat galette with tomme and Guémené andouille, or a confit lamb shoulder with pommes dauphine. The bar serves sea-inspired cocktails. The setting is wooded and intimate, and you come as much for the view as for the plate. A spa with sauna, hammam and hot tub completes the stay.
